Help us Celebrate Earth Day With Two Great Events on Saturday, April 20th!
Community Service Project – Saturday, April 20th: 8 AM – Noon
Our April Community Service Project will be to help with the UWWC Earth Day Clean-Up. Clean-up sites will include the Milwaukee River, Lac Lawrann, Lucus Lake, and the Ozaukee-Washington County Land Trust. Our group will be assigned one location so we can work together. Participants receive a free T-shirt and zoo pass. We will meet in the UWWC parking lot where we will have a Breakfast Tailgate kick off with food and beverages. Please wear old clothes and tennis shoes as volunteers will get dirty. They would like an estimate of how many volunteers our group will bring so they can assign us an appropriate location so please contact Tanya Lohr if you are planning on participating in this event. It would be great to show up with a big group!
Movie Discussion Night – Saturday, April 20th: 6 – 9 PM
Our April movie will be An Inconvenient Truth, which takes an honest and in depth look at the issue of Global Warming. Please bring a snack to pass. Drinks will be provided. Please contact Waring Fincke at wrfincke@charter.net with questions.
