Absentee Voting — Safe and Easy!

It’s a critical election season, and April 7, 2020 is the Election Date in Wisconsin. The COVID-19 virus could become more wide-spread, and the risk of infection could be much greater than it is today by the 7th.

We urge everyone to request an Absentee Ballot NOW. Requesting a ballot is easy. Visit the State of Wisconsin website myvote.wi.gov/en-US/VoteAbsentee and be prepared to upload a copy of your ID. It only takes a few minutes. Your ballot will be mailed to you by your municipality clerk, and all you have to do to vote is return your ballot to your clerk by mail.

In-Person Absentee Voting (Early Voting) has begun in Washington County; however, we recommend that you take advantage of the mailed ballot and practice “social distancing” even as regards going to the Clerk’s Office for voting.

Be safe, be well, and be kind. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Monthly Membership Meeting – Wed., March 18th

A message from the Chair and Vice Chair of the Democratic Party of Washington County.

In consultation with DPW, CDC, Wisconsin community health officials, and out of appropriate caution, and concern for the health of all in our community, we have decided to cancel our March Monthly Membership meeting on March 18. We have also cancelled events that had been scheduled at our office on March 17, March 24, and April 11.

We encourage you to wash your hands regularly and follow all guidelines provided by the CDC, State and Local authorities as we try to navigate these coming days.

The virus can be especially dangerous for those over 60, particularly if they have other chronic ailments like heart disease, diabetes, or a whole host of lung ailments. We will be sure to keep you posted of additional developments as we become aware of them, but before you head to any future events at the Washington County Dems office, be sure to check whether they are still taking place.

Thank you and watch this space.
