NEAL PLOTKIN FOR STATE SENATE DISTRICT 8

Neal Plotkin understands the needs of our local economy. He’s had a business career of 40 years in sales and marketing, primarily to the local small business community. As a small business owner operating through the booms and busts of our economy, he maintained success by working hard and making fiscally smart decisions.

Neal wants to help maintain an economy that can give anyone the same opportunities we’ve all had, for every Wisconsinite.

From our public schools to our public lands, he will always listen to your ideas and be a voice for our neighbors.

Neal is asking to earn your vote on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 so we can make the 8th Senate district the best it has ever been and be a beacon of investment, opportunity, and the best place to live, work, and raise a family.

Three Reminders – for your calendar

1) Democratic Party of Wisconsin Virtual State Convention – Fri, June 12 -TODAY!

2) Washington County Democratic Party Monthly Meeting – Wed, June 17

3) Our friends from Jefferson Co Dems – Concert/Rally –  Tuesday, June

VIRTUAL STATE CONVENTION – TODAY! JUNE 12

You are invited to be a guest at the virtual State Convention. All are encouraged to “attend”. This is NOT a “Zoom meeting”; it is a live-streamed event. Registration is not necessary. All are welcome. Links and up to date information can be found at:

https://wisdems.org/events-nav/2020-dpw-convention/

I wish I had inside information about the speakers; I don’t. But I can’t imagine that national candidates or their well-known surrogates will not make an appearance. And hearing the DPW Chair and DNC candidates will give all a current sense of the energy and priorities of Wisconsin Democrats. I encourage attending.

2) MONTHLY MEETING – June 17

June 17, Wed, @ 7:00 pm, our 2nd virtual Zoom meeting!

An invite link, previous minutes, and agenda will be emailed to members and friends no later than Monday, June 15.  If you are unsure of your  active membership or have not received the Zoom invite last month and would like to attend:

PLEASE RSVP to:

washctywidems@gmail.com

3) JEFFERSON COUNTY’S CONCERT / RALLY – June 23

This Concert has been described as a one and half hour virtual event with primarily  musicians and some speakers (well known political activists and politicians).  Internationally known singer songwriter Peter Mulvey will be one of the musicians and there will be future confirmation of other musicians and speakers. The event is free and there is a fund-raising component, specifically for supporting local candidates, including Tom Palzewicz for Congress.
